After the first race in Australia, all the World Superbike Championship teams went to the Losail track in Qatar a few kilometers from the city of Doha. Team Guandalini Racing, afterwards a successful debut at Phillip Island will seek to reconfirm the good performance, especially in practice, the race as well during the qualifying sessions.

The races result was the result of a conservative choice of tires, to dare to choose a softer choice with the possibility of obtaining a better result but also the risk not complete the race.

Weather conditions with temperatures that fluctuate between 20 and 27 degrees (°C) for all three days. As usual the race will take on Saturday, with practice on Thursday and Friday.

Brendan Roberts will tackle this new track for the first time and will continue his path of learning while Jakub Smrz try to repeat the good results in the first 2 Australian races.
